The idea for Dipsa Foods was born from one mother’s desire to improve the nutrition available to her children while they attended school. She had discovered the food being provided to the school children provided little in the way of nutrition.
Rojas Pacheco Luz Marina set out to combine the naturally nutrient dense native superfoods abundant in her area into a simple, easy to transport source of nutrition she could send to school with her children. Soon after the parents of the other students in her children’s classes began asking her if they could purchase the nutrition bars for their children as well.
The quality, taste, and nutritional value of Dipsa Foods Exotic Diet has allowed the company to expand from these humble beginnings to markets throughout Latin America. Now thanks to a strategic partnership with MADANA Inc. Dipsa Foods Exotic Diet is available in the U.S.A.

Production
The 100% all natural tropical fruits, seeds, and nuts used to create the signature Exotic Diet snacks are sourced from the surrounding fertile regions of South America and are produced in Columbia’s capital city, Bogotá. All of our raw ingredients are sourced from producers who take responsibility for the stewardship of the land they farm. Sustainable practices ensure these high quality natural ingredients will be available for generations to come.
Our production facility employs local skilled workers who hand combine and prepare our nutritionally superior snacks. We offer dependable hours, a safe working environment, and fair wages to all of our valued employees.
The entire line of Dipsa Foods products is trans-fat free, Non- GMO, and Gluten-free by the standards in the country of origin and are currently being evaluated for Non-GMO and Gluten-Free certification by the Non-GMO project and Allergen Control Group Inc. in the U.S.

Just outside of the capital city of Bogotá, nestled in the Eastern mountain range and bordered by The Valley of the Magdalena River, Cundinamarca is considered to be one of Colombia’s most valuable agricultural regions. Despite its rich natural resources the area is home to many disadvantaged citizens who have few options for employment. A large proportion of Dipsa Foods collaborators are single mothers from areas like Cundinamarca, many of whom are survivors of violence and extreme poverty. We are inspired by the perseverance and acts of selflessness these women have endured to create a better future for their children and offer them an opportunity for fair wages and a safe work environment where they are respected and rewarded for their work ethic.
Dipsa Foods was founded with the noble mission to provide hungry children with the nutrition they need to thrive. We believe building a stronger community begins with supporting the development of our children.
Childhood nutrition is vitally important, without proper nutrition growth is stunted both physically and mentally. Unfortunately, underprivileged families lack the resources to provide the nutrition their children need to thrive. Dipsa Foods proudly supports Columbia’s underprivileged youth with through a variety of nutrition programs and charitable donations.
